Coach launch kit

Six steps

   Sign in

   New coach? Tap “Got a code?” at the sign-in screen and enter your club code or coach code. Pick your own username and a 6-number PIN.

   Add your players

   On a computer, sign in at web.gc.com as team staff → your team → Stats → Export stats (bottom of the table). Then in the app, Stats → Choose the GameChanger file. Repeat after every tournament to refresh the stats. Every player gets an account at once — first name as the username, jersey number repeated to 4 digits as the PIN (#7 → 7777, #12 → 1212).

   Hand out sign-in cards

   Print one card per player with their username and PIN. In the app, More → Launch kit fills them in for you.

   Send the parent message

   Copy it into your team group chat. It covers signing in, the home screen, alerts, and the parent link.

5. 5

   Send your first challenge

   Challenges → Coverage level → Level 1. Everyone with alerts on gets a buzz.

6. 6

   Put the poster up

   Tape it in the dugout. “Did you do today's play?” does the reminding for you.

Each opens your print screen, where you can also save a PDF.

Parent message

For your team group chat. Signed in, the app adds your team’s name and code for you.

We're using Run the Play this season to learn where every position goes on every play. It's short, animated, and works like a game on any phone.

How to get in:
1. Open www.runtheplayapp.com/app on your player's phone or tablet.
2. Sign in with the username and PIN on the card I handed out.
3. Add it to the home screen (iPhone: Share → Add to Home Screen) and open it from there.
4. Tap "Turn on alerts" so you'll know when I send a challenge.

Every day there's a new Play of the Day, and there's a team leaderboard all season. 🏆

Parents: your player can send you a read-only "Parent link" from their home screen to follow along. No email or last name needed. What's kept and who can see it: https://www.runtheplayapp.com/privacy
