Terms of use

The rules for using Run the Play, in plain words. Last updated September 29, 2026.

The short version

  • Run the Play teaches players where to go on every play. It doesn’t replace a coach on the field.
  • Coaches set up teams and are responsible for telling parents and getting their OK.
  • Be kind, keep sign-ins private, and only add players you coach.
  • Run the Play is free while we test it. If that changes, we’ll tell you before anyone is charged.

Who we are

Run the Play is run by Saw Tech Solutions LLC, a Texas company (“we” and “us”). By using the app or this website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

Who can use it

  • Coaches and club admins must be adults (18 or older). You can set up a team for players you coach or teach, including lesson students.
  • Players use Run the Play through a team their coach set up. A player under 18 needs a parent’s OK to use it.
  • Parents can follow their player through the parent link, and can ask us to delete their player’s information at any time. Our privacy page explains how.

What coaches agree to

  • Tell each player’s parents about Run the Play and get their OK before adding the player.
  • Only add players you coach or teach. Use first names, or a first name and last initial.
  • Only share videos, stats and plays you have the right to share.
  • Delete a player who leaves your team, or when a parent asks.

Accounts and PINs

Keep your username and PIN to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens on your account. If you think someone else knows your PIN, change it or ask your coach to reset it. Tell us about anything that looks wrong at info@runtheplayapp.com.

Using it fairly

  • No bullying, mean names or rude messages, in names, challenges, plays or anything else you type.
  • Don’t try to get into someone else’s account or team.
  • Don’t copy, sell or scrape the app, or try to break it.

Staying safe

  • Run the Play is a learning tool. Your coach’s call on the field always comes first.
  • In VR: clear the space around you, stay inside your headset’s boundary, and take breaks. Swinging a controller can hit people and things nearby. An adult should be close by for younger players.
  • You use the app at your own risk. We aren’t responsible for injuries during practice, games or VR play.

What belongs to whom

The app, its plays, animations, words and logo belong to us. Run the Play is a trademark. What a coach creates, like plays, plans and challenges, stays theirs. By adding it, you let us store it and show it to your team so the app works.

Paid plans

Run the Play is free while we test it. If we add paid plans, we’ll post the price and tell coaches before anyone is charged. Nobody is ever charged without agreeing to it first, and players are never asked to pay.

No promises

We work hard to keep Run the Play accurate and running, but it’s offered “as is.” Rules differ by league, so check anything important with your coach or league. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss from using the app. If we are liable, it’s limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Ending an account

You can stop using Run the Play at any time. A coach can delete players, teams and everything about them. We may close an account that breaks these terms, or puts players at risk.

Changes and the law

If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and the date at the top first. Using the app after that means you accept the change. These terms follow the laws of the State of Texas.
