Deep Fly to Right, Runner on 3rd
The call: Fly out to right field: Throw home through the cutoff (first baseman).

Why it matters
The runner can't leave until the catch, then races the throw home. The right fielder should catch the ball moving toward the infield, so the throw starts with some speed behind it. The infield's part is lining up a cutoff and getting the pitcher behind the plate before the ball comes down.
What the runners do
- Runner on 3rd. Goes back to the bag, tags up, and scores after the catch: a sacrifice fly.
- Batter. Out on the fly ball.
This is the baseball field. In the app a fastpitch softball team sees every play on its own field, with its own rules.
