Squeeze Bunt, Runner on 3rd
The call: Out at home: the pitcher glove-flips to the catcher.

Why it matters
The runner breaks with the pitch, so there is no time for a full throw. The pitcher fields the bunt and flips it to the catcher with the glove. Both corner infielders charge, which means the second baseman has to get to 1st. A team sees this once or twice a season, and that is why it works against them.
What the runners do
- Runner on 3rd. Breaks on the squeeze. The bunt goes right back to the pitcher, who glove-flips to the catcher for the tag.
- Batter. Reaches 1st on a fielder's choice; the defense picked the out at home instead.
This is the baseball field. In the app a fastpitch softball team sees every play on its own field, with its own rules.
